Ordering early:

We would like you to keep in mind that our standard products are usually in stock. The customized standard products are not. If you want something special, you should get us an order early.

Custom and customized orders:

Customized orders may take as long as 8 weeks from the order date to the ship date. We prioritize orders based on when the order has been received, and not who it is for. If you placed your order for delivery on May 1, and you placed that order on October 1, then you will have top priority for that delivery date. This has been our policy for decades. If you place a customized order, you will be required to give us a 50% deposit with the order. If you purchase one of our standard products that is not necessary. Whitewater Self Bailing Rafts, and Culebra Frameless catarafts, and a number of standard catarafts may be in short supply. It is good to call early.

The China syndrome:

JPW does not build anything off shore. Everything we make is made here in Aztec NM, USA. That means we can make it faster and get it to you quicker than someone who makes it in China. That also means that we do not inventory a lot of boats that may or may not sell because of economic or climate conditions. For this reason we hardly ever have to sell off products at a huge discount just to reduce inventory. This means that with JPW you can get closer to what you want, and what works, and what will last, but you will probably have to plan ahead and ask for it 4 to 8 weeks before you need it.
