I first thought that someone who did so much welding on such big items would be easily able to make these tubes, but they convinced me that was not the case. These tubes are 70 ft long and 59 inches in diameter. It takes 5 people to handle the material in the welding machine, and we had to build some special equipment to handle them. The material is 18 oz pvc coated nylon, the valves on the end are a 2 psi pressure relief valve, and a 1 1/2 NPT bulkhead fitting. It takes 1.5 hours to inflate one of these with a 2 stage 8 hp blower.
