Darius Semens uses his Fat Pack Cat In two of the most beautiful streams in the world
Darius Semmens sent these photos of the Selway at .35 ft, and the South Fork of the Flathead in Montana. Here is what he said about his trip on the Selway.
“I bought this boat from you 20 years ago (I believe it was a prototype/second) and it is still going strong - this photo is from the Selway last week. Last year I used it on the South Fork of the Flathead. On each trip I left a wake of envious pack rafters who were wet, uncomfortable, beerless, and wishing they had a FPC. Anyway, I have a couple of questions for you.”
The questions were about new design that I came up with that would not have straps wraping around the tubes of the fat cat. The second question was about a urethane coating, because after 20 years, the coating on the bottom is getting thin.
Little Niagra on the Selway. Sure is different at .35 than at 5 ft when I ran it. We were on the river when Mt St Hellen blew its top.
Have a look at this beautiful stream. The South Fork of the Flathead River. Inaccessable and knock out georgeous.
Thanks for having a look.
